One Heck of a Headache

Throbbing pain
Troubles me night and day.
Pulsing sounds
Inflict a grievous harm.
Dancing imps
Bedevil my poor brain.
Pounding hooves
Stomp to a savage beat.
Droning fiends
Chant a demonic tune.
Leering beasts
Drive me slowly insane.
Sinning thoughts
Corrupt my weary soul.
Laughing shades
Make me commit foul crimes.
Choking hands
Have a will of their own.
Dying cries
Haunt my guilt-ridden mind.
Speeding lead
Ends my damned agony.
